Career Forum 2017 - Competencies in Career Exploration

A 2-day conference for graduate students and postdoctoral scientists at UTMB, focused on career opportunities for PhDs within biomedical science and medical humanities.

Friday - March 10 Check-in begins at 3 pm Keynote address by Dr. Garth Fowler from the American Psychological Association at 4 pm followed by a networking reception and professional etiquette demonstration by Dr. Dorian Copenhaver.

Saturday - March 11 Check-in begins at 8 am Agenda features 3 Career Panel sessions (For-Profit, Non-Profit and Academic career tracks), a special presentation on Emotional Resilience, and a follow-up address by Dr. Fowler.

The event is FREE but advance registration is required. Lunch and snacks included. All activities will be in Levin Hall, 2nd floor auditorium, lobby and dining hall.
